• Write reading notes and identities (use Cornell Notes format).

There will be a quiz on these chapters during the first week of school

You will be required to read two books (in addition to the text book) throughout school year. It is most beneficial that you read biographies. You will need to complete a biography book report in the format that will be given to you. One book must be read over the summer and the other will be read over the Winter Break.

• Read a biography about a significant figure in European history.
• Complete the book report form.

All assignments are due during the first two days of school.
