2413 Applied Algebra B

Recommended Preparation:

 

Successful completion of either Applied Algebra A or Semester One of Algebra 1

Grade Level: 9 - 12

This course is the second year of a two year course of study that introduces students to the fundamentals of the language of mathematics including solving and graphing equations, rules o f exponents, linear equations, quadratic functions, and polynomials. Much of the course work will look at the abstract relationships in algebra and algebraic manipulations. Some of the work will involve everyday applications. Completion of this course, after successful completion of Applied Algebra A meets the Algebra graduation requirement.
