Booster Club Donations

Welcome to Aptos High School!

The Aptos High School Booster Club would like to take this opportunity to welcome your family to the 2011-2012 school year. There is always a lot of excitement around the beginning of a new school year and it is a great time to be a Mariner.  We have a comprehensive academic program and outstanding sports and music departments and many extra curricular actives such as our Robotics Club which placed 1st in an international ROV competition in Texas this summer.

The Booster Club is your source for information about how to get involved at school regardless of how much or how little time you have.  The Boosters coordinate volunteers, raise funds, provide information to parents and teachers and helps provide a link between school and home.  Parent involvement is key to ensuring your child has a successful school year.

One of our biggest fundraisers is eScrip.  What’s great about this program is that it is free. Yes, that is correct it does not cost you a penny!  Last year we made over $10,000 with eScrip and this year we would like to double that amount.  If you already have an account you just need to make sure that you add or change the account so that Aptos High is your recipient group. Look for the Booster table at Back to School Night and we will help you with this.

Please feel free to contact any of the Booster Club representatives if you have any questions about Aptos High.  Send us your email address, and we will keep you informed of all upcoming Booster happenings.  We look forward to meeting you in person and hope to see you at one of our first Booster meetings August 22nd or September 19th at 5:30 in the Career Center.

The Aptos High School Booster Club would like to welcome your family to the 2010-2011 school year. Excitement abounds at the beginning of a new school year and it is a great time to be a Mariner.  AHS has a comprehensive academic program, outstanding sports tradition, excellent performing arts department and wide-ranging extracurricular activities: Cycling, Robotics, Mock Trial, just to name a few.

The Booster Club is for all Mariners.  Since 1970 the Booster Club has been a core fundraising champion and supportive partner in all these areas across the entire AHS campus.  Recently funded requests include: donation toward scholarships for graduating seniors, donation towards a new mat for wrestling team, donation toward technology school wide support for students and staff, donation toward the Robotics Club that placed 3rd in an international ROV competition in Hawaii this summer. To view full lists of past and present donations look for our donation letter coming out in September.

Current studies show that parent involvement is "key" to the success of students.
