Incoming 9th Grade Registration

Process

Directions for Registering for 9th Grade at Aptos High School.

1. Complete all mandatory registration forms that will be available at Aptos High School and return it to Aptos High School.

(Once all registration forms are completed, students will be eligible to be placed in classes for the Fall.)

2. Study the Sample Four Year Education Plan.

3. Fill out and sign the 9th Grade Course Request Form with appropriate electives.

Timeline

January  Aptos Jr. 8th Gr. Teacher Recommendations (ELA & Math)

Feb. 2nd  8th Grade Parent Night in PAC (6:00 pm to 7:15 pm)

Feb. 3rd  Counselor Presentations to 8th Graders (AJHS)

Feb. 10th  9th Grade Elective Request Forms Due (to Jr. High or AHS)

Mar. 23rd  8th Grade Parent Coffee & Campus Tour (1st Block)

May 10th  8th Grade Student Campus Tour (11 am to 12:00)

May 10th  8th Grade Parent Student Panel Presentation (6:30 to 7:30 pm)
