The Aptos High Cycling Club and Team is ramping up for the 2010-11 School Year.  The Aptos High Cycling Club/Team is a beginning organization established to develop and grow a love for riding, to develop a competitive cycling team through the school and in the area and to foster a service oriented philosophy that gives back to the sport and to the cycling community in general.  If you like to ride and have fun or are itching to race – we are your group!  There are also team management and leadership opportunities for students, parents and community members and coaching needs for adults.  We will meet regularly at the school to organize group rides in the area and we are beginning to develop a riding and/or training calendar for planned rides and races.   

 We are accepting bicycles or bike parts that are no longer needed through our Bike Shop at School class which is sponsored by The Bicycle Trip in Santa Cruz.  These bikes and parts will be built into bikes for students to ride and/or race on. 

 We are super happy and proud of our generous sponsors so far and are open to donations.  Please shop at the local sponsor’s shops as they support youth cycling in the area!  Our sponsorship proposal that will be updated soon is also attached to this website.
