The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is an Honor Society that recognizes students for academic achievement in high school.

Membership in CSF is through the Aptos High School chapter.

Students who meet the requirements apply for membership through a process including grades from the prior semester. Membership lasts for one semester and students must re-apply in following semesters. Students are recognized for academic success with the CSF seal on their diploma and a CSF pin worn at graduation.

Life membership can be achieved by seniors who have been members for four of the prior six semesters of high school. Life members are recognized at graduation by wearing the CSF pin in addition to a special stole and honor cord.

To apply for membership, Please log in to the AHS website: Click Counseling > CSF,  and download the application. (The link to the application is located at the top of the CSF page) Membership for grades received during the Spring 2020 (Jan-June) semester is paid via the web store (located under the application, at the top of the CSF page).  Once you have completed your membership application and paid the $10.00 membership dues,  email the completed application to Elva Martin (elva_martin@pvusd.net) and I will match your paid dues to the application. The completed paper application and receipt for dues will be placed in my box for processing.

Seal of Biliteracy

AHS The California State Seal of Biliteracy program recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing one or more languages in addition to English.

The Pajaro Valley Unified School District is pleased to offer this award that students may earn upon graduation from high school. The State Seal of Biliteracy includes a seal on the diploma and a medal to be awarded to each student who meets the criteria.
